Problems of the Day (PODs):
PODs are completed in class, usually in teams. Specific directions for each POD will be located in the resources section of the agenda page. You will receive credit for each POD if you act as an active participant with your team, are focused and clearly show hard work.
These will be posted on your POD Reflection webpage in the form of a journal entry. In order to receive credit, each reflection needs to have an academically driven narrative and a visual-aide component. Examples of visual aides could be photos, or video documentation of your experience.
Digital Geometry Notebook:
Over the year, you will create mini-lessons and conduct investigations then post them in your Digital Geometry Notebook. Each chapter guide will list focus topics that you can choose from.
Interactive Math Glossary:
Throughout the year, you will be creating your very own math glossary that you can continue to develop beyond this school-year if you wish. In order to receive credit, your glossary should include mathematical vocabulary words studied throughout the unit. Each word needs to have a definition, example and/or visual aide to count.
*Note* Please refer to chapter guides for information on how many and what kind of tasks need to be completed in order to earn a specific grade. Chapter guides can also be copied into your GoogleDrive so that you can keep track of your progress throughout each chapter.
